If it was possible to offer typdy without collecting any personal information, we would. Our business is offering a gread Headless CMS, not gathering your information.

This privacy notice explains how we, TypeDCMS Ltd. (trading as typdy), process and protect the personal information that you provide to us when you use the typdy Headless CMS or the typdy.com website (hereon simply referred to as typdy).

We are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Any personal information that you provide when using typdy will only be used in accordance with this policy, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other relevant data protection and privacy laws applicable to our business.

We may change this policy from time to time by publishing changes to this page. We will notify customers of changes two weeks prior to publishing, to give you the opportunity to terminate your account if you are not happy.

If you do not agree with our privacy policy, do not use typdy.

TypeDCMS Ltd is the controller for the personal information we process, unless otherwise stated.

Information Collected

TypeDCMS Ltd is primarily interested in offering you great Headless CMS, not collecting your personal information. As such, when you use typdy, we only collect the personal information necessary to facilitate its use.

By using typdy, certain personal information is collected automatically, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, and the date and time of your visit.

When contacting us you may provide your personal information as part of your message.

When you register an account with us we collect the following personal information from you:

  • Company name, or employer name (if applicable);
  • Name, nickname, or alias;
  • Email address;
  • Password (which is stored in a hashed format);
  • Full name;
  • Billing address, including postal code; and
  • Payment information (secured and encrypted by our payment processor).

All payments are processed through Stripe (check out their privacy policy). When entering your payment details these are sent directly to Stripe. We only store the last four digits of your card number and the card type to help you determine which payment method you’re using.

If you are a user of a website or application built on typdy, we may occasionally have access to your personal information as a data processor. This is because we provide hosting and support services to customers of typdy. We will never store this information for longer than is absolutely necessary to provide our services.

We may also occasionally see personal information in log files. We do not use this information for any other purpose beyond troubleshooting specific issues that have caused the information to be logged.

We cannot and do not take responsibility for the information that you submit to websites or applications built on typdy. You should consult their privacy policy before proceeding to share your information with them.

Information Usage

Personal information collected through your use of typdy is used strictly as necessary to facilitate its use.

Should you send us your personal data for any other purpose, we will only use it for the purposes that you have provided us with. Should it be necessary to process in any other way, we require your consent to proceed.

We may use your personal information to request feedback, offer support or provide important service updates. We will not use your information for promotional emails or market research purposes. Should we wish to do so in the future, we will provide you with an opt-in mechanism.

Your information is processed through a number of third-party data processors. You can find a complete list of these sub-processors at the end of this page.

Information Storage

We store all of your personal information in data centres located in the UK and EU. In addition, we use third-parties to process your data. These third-party processors may store data in other countries. We carefully review all third-party suppliers to ensure they handle your data responsibly and in accordance with this policy.

For dormant or terminated accounts, we will store your personal data for up-to 7 years before it is deleted.

Managing Your Data

You can download a copy of the personal data we hold about your from the ‘My Account’ section of your typdy admin panel.

If you would like to request the deletion of your personal data, please contact privacy@typdy.com.

If you would like to terminate your account, please email terminations@typdy.com and provide your account termination secret. Your secret code will be visible from the ‘My Account’ section of your typdy admin panel.
